Welcome to The Sovereign Grace Missionary Baptist Church
Of
Texarkana, Texas

When I first received a e-mail from Brother Sergey Mochalov I forwarded it to some of my dear Preacher freinds and Brother Curtis Pugh responded with this e-mail about them.

Brother Pugh is a Missionary to Romania that the Sovereign Grace Baptist Church helps support.

Dear Bro. Randy,
Greetings from Romania!

We continue to pray for you.  How is your job situation?  We have been very concerned.

I didn't know if you knew or not, but within the last 3 years Bro. Raul and I flew to Irkutsk and were with the Siberian Brethren for 3 Lord's Days.  We had occasion to preach in several Baptist churches in the Irkutsk region.  We found the brothers in Irkutsk, especially, to be very desirous of following the Word of God in all their doings.  We were well impressed.  They are zealous and sincere, I believe, and have taken a solid stand for grace and accept no baptisms except Baptist.  Our translator told me that a church started in 1902, I believe, was their "mother" (their word) and when enroute to preach at a smaller church, the interpreter told me that this church was their "daughter" (again, their word) so it seems they have the right concept of how churches are started.

Sometimes the writing of Bro. Sergey is difficult to understand.  He does not speak English.  He has a computer program from England that translates from Russian to English and sometimes it misses what he wants to say.

It is always a blessing to hear from Bro. Sergey and another Brother there, Bro. Vladimir who pastors an independent (the first church to go independent there) in a suburb of Irkutsk.

Please keep praying for us.  And give all the saints there our greetings.

Curtis
